Wealth creation through Real Estate

Wealth creation through Real Estate

Trying to secure life is basic human nature. One of the easiest ways to feel secure is by achieving financial freedom. And that can happen only through creation of sustainable wealth. What is sustainable wealth? It is the wealth that lasts long, may be for generations. Built with patience, purpose and planning, this wealth can make your life truly “Real Rich”.

Real Estate as Investment Tool
Real estate has always been regarded as the most reliable and rewarding tool for wealth creation. Unlike risky methods like investing in stocks, cryptocurrencies etc., it is considered as a hedge against inflation and belongs to the largest asset class in the world today. Favoured by billionaires all across the world, it brings tangible assets, provides cash flow and appreciates in value with time. One can generate sustainable wealth by investing in properties. All that is needed is patience, the right strategy and adequate market insight.
How does Real Estate work?

There are several ways of creating wealth through real estate.

1.Rental income
One of the most common ways of creating wealth by investing in real estate is through rental income. You buy a property and lease it out to a tenant. The rent you earn is an income that can cover your mortgage payment, maintenance charge and generate profit in course of time. Since rents tend to adjust with inflation, wealth creation for the investor does not get affected.

2. Appreciation
The value of real estate usually goes up with time. Investors with good foresight invest in properties in upcoming areas, stay invested patiently and either build equity that can be leveraged for further investments or sell them off once the returns reach a particular level.

3. Property Flipping
Less popular in India and very common in the western world, property flipping is another way of creating wealth through real estate. One buys a rundown property at a price, renovates it and sells is again at a higher price booking a healthy profit.

4. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
If someone wishes to start small and test the waters before starting to invest in real estate in a big way, REIT is the option. REITs own or finance large properties and offer investors opportunities to invest in a small portion of that property. The investors earn dividends and create wealth of their own.

Offering diversification and stability in a portfolio, real estate remains one of the most powerful tools for sustainable wealth creation. With adequate knowledge, planning and due diligence, it can turn a modest corpus into lasting wealth. So, invest in real estate and build a sustainable future for yourself.
