'Best Facility and Safety Award' Acknowledges Commitment to Labor Welfare, CREDAI Pune Metro Leads the Way
CREDAI Pune Metro, recognizing the pivotal role of the labor force in the industry, reaffirms its dedication to the welfare and well-being of laborers, striving to uplift their social conditions while transforming the industry’s perspective. The relentless efforts of CREDAI Pune Metro in championing and promoting industry best practices are channeled through its dedicated Labor Welfare Committee, as emphasized by Ranjit Naiknavare.
'Best Facility and Safety Award' Acknowledges Commitment to Labor Welfare, CREDAI Pune Metro Leads the Way
The formal inauguration of the pioneering ‘Best Facility and Safety Award’ in the Indian Real Estate Sector, introduced by CREDAI Pune Metro, recently took place during the Presentation Screening Sessions held at the CREDAI Pune Metro Office.
Present at the event were CREDAI Pune Metro’s President, Ranjit Naiknavare; Secretary, Ashwin Trimal; Convener, Sapna Rathi; Co-Conveners, Milind Talathi and Parag Patil; and Director General, Dr. D Abhyankar, alongside a panel of expert Jury Members from PCERF and CQRA.
Addressing the gathering, CREDAI Pune Metro’s President, Ranjit Naiknavare, stated, “In response to the ever-evolving landscape of our industry, we have introduced the Safety Award Competition 2023. Safety is a non-negotiable aspect of any thriving community, and our commitment to ensuring the well-being of both our workforce and residents has driven this innovative addition.”
He also expressed confidence that this unique initiative by CREDAI Pune Metro has received strong support from developer teams and will significantly enhance Safety Awareness and Implementation of various Labor Welfare Activities within communities in Pune and Maharashtra.
The Pride Group and Vilas Javdekar Group serve as the main sponsors for the Best Facility and Safety Award Competition, with the SJ Contracts Group as co-sponsors. The competition garnered entries from over 150 member developers.
CREDAI Pune Metro also actively engages in initiatives such as Labor Registration, facilitating benefits under BOCW, forming a Free Labor Advisory Forum, offering safety and precautionary guidelines to members for construction sites, organizing health checkup camps, providing crèches, immunization programs, and schools for the children of laborers working at construction sites, among other activities.
