Mumbai | July 12, 2026 – Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has sold two luxury residential apartments in Mumbai’s Mulund West for a combined ₹12.38 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. The transactions highlight the continued strength of Mumbai’s premium residential market and the long-term appreciation potential of well-located real estate assets.
Premium Apartments Sold in Oberoi Enigma
The two apartments are located in Oberoi Enigma, a premium residential development on LBS Road, Mulund West. Each apartment has a carpet area of 1,886 sq. ft. and comes with three dedicated car parking spaces.
Both units were sold to Sunny Home Care Private Limited for ₹6.19 crore each, taking the total transaction value to ₹12.38 crore. The sale deeds were officially registered on June 30, 2026.
Strong Returns on Long-Term Investment
Akshay Kumar had purchased both apartments in October 2017 for approximately ₹4.49 crore each, with the total acquisition cost close to ₹9 crore.
Over nearly nine years, the properties appreciated by around 38%, generating an estimated gain of ₹1.70 crore per apartment. Property registration records also indicate that the transaction involved a stamp duty payment of ₹74.28 lakh, in line with Mumbai’s prevailing registration norms.
